So, for the month of December I've decided to try to do one character-based sketch a day.

Advent Characters Day 17

Jacqueline Maldera

Few know the contortionist Jacqueline Maldera is in fact, on her second life. Here, she must be rehearsing, for, owing to the large swath of scars on her face, she usually performs masked. One would not think so small a woman traveling with so jocular a band would be as disposed to as violent tenancies as she. But still sometimes she dreams of salt air, thievery, and bloodshed, and misses a life she had to give up on so young.
