Advent Characters 18

So, for the month of December I've decided to try to do one character-based sketch a day. Owing to being away from my supplies from the 18th and 19th, expect a double post on Monday to make up for the lack of weekend posts.

Advent Characters Day 18

Sylvester

In all honesty, Sylvester is not quite sure what he is. Like his adopted 'sister' Media, he knows he is some variety of hybrid, but his roots are not clear. His human adoptive parents assumed some form of Manticore and a water sprite, though such a coupling should never have led to viable offspring. Still, when they found him as babe wrapped in weeds on the shore, they adopted him as their own, having always wanted children but never being able to conceive or adopt. Despite his fantastic and in some ways menacing appearance, they raised him into a rather upstanding young man.
