Corpsi, Para, and Leu-Leu

Whenever I learn about terrifying and/or bizarre new things in the natural world, I have the urge to draw them in a super cute manner. This isn't quite as 'Sanrio' as I intended, but it's a little hard to make mind-altering parasites pukey-cute.

For the Insidious Blogleeche's new gallery, I give you Para and Leu-Leu the snail with the eye-stalk twins, Leucochloridium paradoxum [link] with a bonus, a fellow (but unrelated) behavior-altering parasite Corpsi, the ant infested with Cordyceps unilateralis [link]

I think these two would make adorable children's nature show hosts, don't you?
