Open your favorite book to page 100 and draw, in comic format, what occurs there in one page.
I ended up cheating, a lot. Firstly, I don't really have a 'favorite' book, just a number of which I am quite fond, I looked through a lot to find something to do (Two Towers IS a favored book of mine though). Secondly, This page covers a LOT of ground and is kindof a really crucial scene, so I just did what would be the first page of it, it would probably need reasonably 4-6 pages to convey everything properly. Page 100 from The Two Towers (according to the omnibus version I have, your mileage may vary).
This could use a LOT more polish (or just... be better), but, well, I've been meaning to do it, and so... here it is. It's a difficult challenge and I think I really ought to try again. Also I am sorry Gandalf, I have not made you half as epic as you should be.

Dude, this is awesome as hell. I love how he looks sort of like how I always pictured an archangel looking; very wise and stern and collected... you did a hell of a nice job on his beard.
