At long last, the last of the 'Merchants of the Apocalypse' series, the Pale horse, so we now have four modern and horrific interpretations of the four 'horsemen' (similar in name only, at this point), as they exist after a great and terrible holocaust, for the apocalypse may not come from above, but from our own greed and desires, horrible mutations of myth, they are the new horsemen (and believe me I know that it is death that Rides the Pale Horse, these are new merchants, like none other before them):
Plague - BB Dogs, a plague on the mind, mechanical scourges.
Famine - Pale Horse, when the grass is gone, how will the horses feed?
War - Atomic Basilisks, "We looked up, and saw them... And then we saw the bombs."
Death - The God Hound, "Where it went, we did follow. It spoke truth, and we listened. When it lied, it was death…”
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is how I turn a strange concept, a dream, an odd comment, and an old abandoned piece of work into something bizarre and unusual and a little horrible, the 'Merchants of the Apocalypse'. I will elaborate my thoughts on the subject matter later.
Spooky, I like it. It looks almost like a centipede. Good job.

Don't forget about the people who are suffering. Iraq. East Timor. Darfur. Myanmar. Haiti. Pakistan. Just because they stopped showing it on the news does not mean it's stopped happening.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
