Abzu

I... I have a lot of feelings about the ocean, about how important it all is, how much we have failed it, how it is both a thing beyond comprehension, and a thing damaged by stupid stupid things.  I think about how I love it, and how I failed in my attempts to become someone who could study and help it.  I think a lot about its sheer mind-blowing beauty, ferocity, complexity, simplicity, and how it is what makes earth earth so much as anything else on the planet.  I think about how things began, and wonder where they may go.  I think about it a lot, it’s hard to sum up.

I guess I’m just saying I really loved Abzu.  It took me some time to think of an oceanic species I love (past or present) that doesn’t appear in the game and settled on Hallucigenia sparsa, which wasn’t an open-ocean species but bear with me.
